Lucky Woman

I heard Montgomery Gentry's song "Lucky Man" while eating dinner out this evening with my family. I encourage you to listen to the words, it is on my play list. This song is so true. As my husband said after hearing the song, "This world would be better if we were all satisfied with what we had."
I spent the day at home playing with my little one. It was 44 degrees here today and we all have a little cabin fever from the long winter. We decided to brave the cold and go outside and play a little street hockey and kick a ball around the yard. It was so nice to get out of the house, away from the ever hypnotizing television and just play.
Eli always says Let's just play. Well I'm never really great at it, probably because I am not giving it my full attention. But today Eli and I went outside and we just played. No games, no organized sports, no fancy gymnasium or lights, bells and whistles. We just played.
Just wanted to write a quick entry saying that I am a lucky woman, and I am thankful for all I have. God Bless.
